The south end of the park can be subject to flooding during high water events, so RV camping is relegated to the north end of the park. While small, this gorgeous park’s unique peninsular location promises some of the best camping on the lake. On a peninsula in the Cookson Hills, just south of Tahlequah, Cherokee Landing State Park sits comfortably at the north end of Lake Tenkiller.
